Features Built for Friends With Benefits
What the site is for, how to use it well, and what it costs, before you create a profile.

Profiles that say what you want
Your profile is where the arrangement starts. Write what you are after in plain words: something regular, roughly how often, and what matters to you. Add a line or two about your life outside dating, because being good company is what makes a match want to see you again. Our guide on how to ask for friends with benefits has example wording.
A strong FWB profile answers the questions people would otherwise have to ask in chat. Are you single? Do you want one regular or are you open to more? Weeknights or weekends? Do you host, or would you rather not? You do not need to answer all of them, but every one you do answer saves a round of messages and filters out people who want something else.
Photos matter as much as words. Use recent pictures that clearly show your face, at least one in natural light, and avoid heavy filters. If you would rather keep your face off a public profile for privacy reasons, say so and offer to share a photo once you have chatted; honest people will understand, and you will learn something from anyone who does not.
Search close to home
An arrangement lasts when meeting is easy. Search for people within a distance you would happily cover on a Tuesday evening. Our location guides cover how this works in different countries.
It is tempting to widen your search to see more people, but distance quietly decides whether something regular survives. A forty-minute journey is fine once; every week it becomes a reason to cancel. Think about where you actually spend your time, near home, near work or along a route you travel anyway, and start there. You can always widen it later if you want more choice.
Timing matters too. If you work shifts, travel for work or share custody of children, mention it. Someone whose free evenings line up with yours is a better match than someone who lives closer but is never free on the same nights.
Chat, then check
Talk on the site first and take your time. We recommend a quick video chat before any meet, so you can confirm the face matches the profile. Then meet somewhere public. That routine is our advice for every first meet, wherever you met.
Use the first few conversations to cover the basics: what each of you is looking for, how often, whether you are both free to see others, and how you each handle sexual health. These are easier to raise in writing than face to face, and having them in the chat means nobody has to rely on memory later.
Be wary of anyone who pushes to move to another messaging app straight away, avoids a video call with excuse after excuse, or turns the conversation towards money, gift cards or investments. Those are the classic signs of a scam, whatever site you are on.
Privacy and safety tools
The privacy and safety controls available to you, such as blocking or reporting, are shown in your account; check them there, because we only list here what we can confirm. Our safety guide and first-meet checklist cover the habits that matter most.
Your own habits do most of the work. Keep identifying details such as your surname, employer and home address out of your profile and early messages. Do not reuse photos from your social media accounts, since a reverse image search can connect them. When you meet, choose a busy place, tell a friend where you will be and plan your own way home.
If someone makes you uncomfortable, you do not need a reason to stop replying. Ending a conversation politely, or simply not continuing it, is always fine.
Agreeing the ground rules
The most useful thing you can do on any FWB site happens in conversation, not in settings: agreeing how the arrangement will work. Cover how often you would like to meet, whose place suits, whether sleepovers are part of it, how you handle testing and protection, and what either of you should do if feelings change or someone new comes along.
Write the answers in the chat. It is not romantic, but it is kind, because it means neither of you has to guess later. Our guide to ground rules that keep both people honest has a short checklist you can copy.
Ending well
Arrangements end for ordinary reasons: a move, a new partner, a change in what someone wants. The best endings are short and direct. A message such as "I have really liked this, and I want to stop now" is enough, and nobody is left guessing. Going quiet is the one ending that tends to hurt.
If you would rather pause than stop, say that instead, and agree when you will check in. For the harder versions of this talk, read our article on stopping things getting messy.
Privacy on your side
Some privacy steps are yours to take, whatever site you use. Choose photos that do not show your street, workplace or car registration. Keep your surname and employer out of your profile until you trust someone. Use a separate email address for dating if you prefer, and think before linking social accounts.
Reporting and blocking
If someone makes you uncomfortable, stop replying, then block or report them. Note what happened, with dates, in case you need it later. You never need to justify ending a chat, and a good match will respect a boundary the first time you state it.

Both tiers unlock membership; until the tier extras are confirmed we do not list them here. You can buy either for a week, a month, a quarter, half a year or a full year.
